Today the Hydroville reflections were due at the beginning of the period. After they were collected, I gave a PowerPoint presentation on Life Substances. We learned about monomers and polymers, dehydration and hydrolysis reactions, and lastly we discussed the four major macromolecules (carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids) and their subunits.
Homework: I handed out 7.3 Reading Worksheet due next Tuesday (10/31).
